Whurple

£5.50

A Scots word for the curlew’s call, Whurple is a gorgeous shawl perfect for all seasons. Slipped stitches give a beautiful texture to the main body, before blending into a lace pattern for the border. Whurple is knit sideways starting with the point and growing to the widest point before finishing with a picot border that continues the lace to the very edge. Knit it with 100g of DK weight yarn for a neat shawlette, 200g for a shawl or with 300g for a gorgeous wrap. If you’d prefer a cowlette, check out Whitterick!

The sample is knit with 300g of Lottie Knits Aglow DK, for a cosy wrap!

The pattern is fully written and charted so whichever way you like to read your patterns, you’re covered! The pattern has been tech edited and test knitted. There’s a screenshot of the pattern and a list of the stitches used at the bottom of the photos.
