A Scots word for Ivy and other climbing plants, Binwuid features a dainty, twisted stitch cable that climbs from cuff to cuff up the outside of your hand. This fingerless mitts pattern is a really quick and fun make – perfect for yourself or a gift for anyone. For the perfect fit, knit a size which gives you at least 1 cm (0.5”) of negative ease.
The pattern is fully written instructions, with charts for the cable patterns and also includes a photo tutorial for the Estonian Cast-On. The pattern has been tech edited and test knitted. There’s a screenshot of the pattern, and a list of the stitches used at the bottom of the photos. These additional techniques are used: picking up stitches.
