Today's #MarchMeetTheMaker is scenes, so I thought

Today's #MarchMeetTheMaker is scenes, so I thought I'd take you behind the scenes of one of my photo shoots! This is Driùchdan which I released in 2022. I used to go out and take the photos at castles or in forests, but then I had to model, my husband had to take the photos and after we had kids it just became a lot trickier to co-ordinate, so now I make do with my living room! Unfortunately it's not very big, so I have to clear most of the furniture out and put it in the other half of the room so it's quite an undertaking. Swipe to the end for my dog, Skye, who is not impressed with the disruption to her morning!

Today's #MarchMeetTheMaker is all about style. One

Today's #MarchMeetTheMaker is all about style. One of my favourite things to do with my my patterns is have a section of pattern where you have to pay attention, but leave the rest plain in either garter stitch or stocking stitch. I like to read while I'm knitting so this gives me plenty of easy knitting time with a little something to keep the pattern interesting both to knit and look at! This is one of the biggest style aspects you'll see repeated throughout my designs, done in a variety of ways.

Hello everyone! Today is the start of #MarchMeetTheMaker and I thought it would be a great day to jump back into posting! I'm Liz and I design knitting patterns.

I focus on designs that will be fun and relaxing knits but still have plenty of visual interest. I write in a clear concise way and my patterns are suitable for anyone who has the basics down and is ready to challenge themselves a little more. I've been doing this since 2012 and my next pattern will be my 100th!

I used @edencottageyarns stunning Hayton 4ply yarn

I used @edencottageyarns stunning Hayton 4ply yarn, which is always my favourite for fingerless mitts. It's buttery soft, has fantastic stitch definition and Victoria's colours are stunning! This one is called Driftwood and it's such a beautiful elegant shade!

My tester's mitts will be up on my blog later (sorry, it's been a long week and something had to give!) so you can see them in all the sizes and see the yarns they used if you're looking for other ideas!
