Fearthainn

£5.50

As the nights draw in and frosty mornings become our new normal, what can be better than a thick, giant shawl to snuggle into? Fearthainn is that giant shawl for me! Knit in a Faroese style with DK yarn with loads of squishy garter stitch, it’s the perfect snuggly shawl. There are three sizes and it’s easily adjustable to any amount of yarn. Meaning rain in Scottish Gaelic, Fearthainn features a slipped stitch textured pattern that reminds me of driving rain, and a cascading cable spine, it’s an easy to follow pattern with plenty of interest.

The pattern is fully written and charted so however you like to read your patterns, you’re covered! The pattern has been tech edited and test knitted. There’s a screenshot of the pattern and a list of the stitches used at the bottom of the photos. The pattern uses a garter tab cast on, simple increases/decreases, simple cables, and slipped stitches.
