Stylish and Fun Knitting Patterns
£5.50
Cailleach-Oidhche is the Scottish Gaelic word for owl, and owls were what I saw as soon as I started knitting this pattern. Knit in two colour brioche the cowl is fully reversible – knit it in a neutral and a vibrant colour and change it up to match your mood, or pick colours to match your favourite winter coat, the possiblities are endless! With a gently scalloped top and bottom edge Cailleach-Oidhche is perfect for snuggling into. Fold down the top edge for an extra pop of colour or keep it up and stay toasty on those frosty winter mornings.
The pattern includes both charts and written instructions, and has been tech edited and test knitted. There’s a screenshot of the pattern and a list of the stitches used at the bottom of the photos. Never done Brioche knitting before? The pattern comes with a full photo tutorial for every stitch used, the cast on and the bind off – and you can see them all here on my Tutorials Page!
