More Crosshatching

When I knit my Tar-Sgàil Socks and Mitts last year, I knew it was going to be the perfect pattern to turn into a hat and cowl set later – and I was right! This gorgeous textured rib pattern is really lush in DK yarn and has enough definition to stand up to moderately patterned yarns.

I love a slouchy hat. They’re a more flattering style for me – and I also love being able to tuck all my hair up into them! But I know other people prefer a beanie so the hat pattern comes with instructions to knit it to a beanie length, a slouchy length and how to adjust it to get the perfect fit for you! There are five sizes for the hat and two for the cowl so you can make one for the whole family.

You can get 25% off Tar-Sgàil Hat and Cowl with the code CrossSale until 11.59 pm (GMT) on the 5th November 2024. The patterns are also on LoveCrafts and Etsy!

If you want to find out what I’m up to between blog posts you can keep an eye on what I’m up to on Instagram, or come join me on Patreon for 50% off new releases and to find out what I’m working on for the next few of months!

Wild and Untamed

This release is really exciting for me because, as well as being my first pattern of 2025, it’s also my 100th pattern! For my 100th pattern I wanted to make something that was very me and really shows who I am as a designer. I think Rammage is the perfect pattern for that! Rammage is

The Curlew’s Call

When I knit Whitterick, I knew almost immediately that I wanted to turn the whole thing into a shawl as well. The texture and the drape are so beautiful that I wanted something I could really wrap myself in! I of course, made it with Lottie Knits Aglow DK. It may be my favourite DK

Burnished Copper

For my latest pair of fingerless mitts I really wanted to play with twisted rib again. I also really wanted to make another pair similar to Dealas with a textured pattern across the back of the hand. So I combined the two ideas and we got Coppersmith! It’s a really fun pattern and once you’re
